The Full Story
A Specialist Approach to Family Relationships and Reconnection
At Noetic Therapeutic Services, I believe that relationships sit at the centre of emotional wellbeing. When relationships become strained, disrupted or disconnected, the impact can be significant, particularly for children and families navigating major life transitions.
My work focuses on supporting families to better understand their relationships, rebuild connection and develop healthier ways of engaging with one another.
I specialise in family therapy, reunification therapy and therapeutic support for families navigating separation, conflict and family law matters. My approach is child-focused, attachment-informed and grounded in family systems theory, recognising that each family has its own history, strengths and challenges.
Professional Background
I hold a Bachelor of Counselling with a major in Psychology and a Master of Counselling, specialising in Child, Youth and Family Therapy. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and registered with the Australian Register of Counselling and Psychotherapists (ARCAP).
My clinical training and professional experience have developed a particular interest and focus in supporting children, parents and families experiencing relationship difficulties, separation, conflict and significant life transitions. I have extensive experience working with families navigating complex family dynamics, including disrupted parent-child relationships, reunification processes, therapeutic supervised contact and family law-related matters.

The Approach
I believe meaningful change occurs when people feel understood, supported and able to develop a different understanding of themselves and their relationships.
My therapeutic approach draws from:
-
Attachment theory
-
Family systems therapy
-
Child development frameworks
-
Trauma-informed practice
-
Emotion-focused approaches
The focus is not simply on resolving conflict, but on understanding the underlying relationship patterns and supporting families to move toward greater connection and stability.
For Individuals and Couples
While Noetic specialises in family therapy and family law-related work, I also provide individual and relationship counselling for people experiencing personal challenges, life transitions, grief, relationship difficulties and periods of change.
The Why
At the heart of my practice is a belief in the transformative power of relationships. While therapeutic approaches, frameworks and techniques are important, I believe meaningful and lasting change occurs when people feel genuinely understood, heard and supported within a safe therapeutic relationship.
I believe that healthy relationships are central to individual and family wellbeing. When connection is strengthened, people are better able to understand themselves, navigate challenges and create meaningful change within their families and communities.
This belief guides my work with individuals, couples and families, particularly those experiencing periods of change, conflict or disconnection. Whether supporting a person through personal challenges or helping families rebuild relationships, my focus is on creating a space where curiosity, compassion and understanding can lead to growth and reconnection.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside each person and family at their own pace to explore what matters most and identify pathways toward greater connection and wellbeing.
